Museum of American Heritage

We enjoyed a private docent-led tour of The Museum of American History (MOAH) in Palo Alto, followed by a luncheon at Taverna, a nearby farm-to-table restaurant of Hellenic food. MOAH is a hidden gem in downtown Palo Alto, adjacent to Stanford University. It melds the spirit of Silicon Valley and the history of technology and society. With exhibits such as an early 20th century kitchen, a 1920s general story, and a working 1920s car garage, MOAH shows the evolution, influence, and relevance of historic innovations. It is a welcome reminder of the power of innovation before the silicon chip.
