Start off the New Year with Fulbright at Hidden Villa, a nonprofit educational organization that uses its organic farm, wilderness and community to teach people about the environment and environmental justice. Hidden Villa occupies over 1600 acres of open space in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, forty miles south of San Francisco, in the heart of Silicon Valley. On a private tour organized especially for the Fulbright Organization, learn how Hidden Villa models a regenerative, organic agriculture that respects the capacity and wildness of the land, honors labor, and values animal welfare.
Following the tour, we will enjoy refreshments in the Knoll Picnic area while Fulbright Board member Colleen Crangle leads a guided conversation on how Fulbright values have led and inspired former Fulbright Fellows. End the afternoon with an optional hike along Hidden Villa’s 8 miles of hiking trails.
